Management Committee - Renaissance Capital Ukraine
Peter Vanhecke is CEO of Renaissance Capital in Ukraine, Belarus, and Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Vanhecke joined Renaissance Capital in Kyiv from Renaissance Capital's Moscow headquarters in January 2008 as Head of Investment Banking in Ukraine. Prior to his arrival at Renaissance Capital in 2006, Peter worked in investment banking in London, Frankfurt and Moscow for Dresdner Kleinwort. Previously, he worked in the M&A departments of Wasserstein Perella & Co in London (2000-2001) and Lazard in Paris (1999-2000). Peter was a strategic consultant for the Boston Consulting Group from 1997-1999 and a lawyer for Baker & McKenzie from 1992-1995.

During his career, Peter Vanhecke has advised on an impressive number of M&A and capital market transactions covering a wide variety of geographies and sectors. In particular, Peter and his team have played key advisory roles during the consolidation of a number of food and beverage sectors in Russia and the CIS.

Peter Vanhecke holds a law degree from Catholic University Leuven (Leuven, Belgium), a master of law degree from Northwestern University (Chicago, IL) and an MBA degree from Columbia University (New York, NY).
